After my dad passed, a clock started. When you are aware of all the things that need to be done, you just want to get to the other side of it. You are trying to grieve, but you can't relax and process it until you get through the laundry list of things. I wish I had Perpetua to help me keep track of everything.

Frequently Asked

We analyze the metadata associated with an email account to surface institutions tied to it: banks, insurers, utilities, subscriptions, social accounts. Then you get a personalized checklist of what happens next, who to contact, and how each institution's process works. We automate the manual work that typically takes hundreds of hours down to a few minutes.

You'll need access to the mailbox and a few minutes to get started. Right now, we support Gmail (Outlook and Yahoo coming soon!)

You don't need to be the executor of the estate. Surviving family members, trustees, and other authorized representatives can use Perpetua too, often alongside the attorney or advisor helping them. Once you connect the mailbox, our personalized checklist guides you through each process with each institution.

We treat your family's deeply personal information the way we would want our own to be treated. We believe privacy is a human right, one that extends even after someone passes away.

Our platform is designed with privacy in mind from the start. That means we minimize the information collected and keep it only for as long as necessary. We also undergo strict privacy reviews and third-party audits annually to make sure we stay aligned with industry standards. See more about our data retention practices here.

The checklist and progress tracker are free. Discovery and settlement tools are $129, which includes three months of access. That's a one time charge, not a subscription. Unwinding recurring payments is a big part of what makes settling an estate exhausting, and we're not going to add to that pile.

If you need more time after three months, we'll ask first. And if it wasn't worth it, tell us within 30 days and we'll fully refund you.

Searching is the right place to start, but it only takes you so far. If you're organizing your own affairs, it means sitting down and listing out every account you have, which often takes hours. Perpetua's discovery takes a few minutes.

Settling someone else's estate is harder, since you often don't know what you're looking for. Perpetua surfaces all the accounts and gives you a detailed guide to settlement. Read more on searching an inbox after a death.

A password manager answers "how do I get in?" Perpetua answers "what's out there?" For an executor, the second question is the hardest one when nobody hands over a complete list.

Most people find it easier to use what they've found with Perpetua to update their password manager.

Yes! Our Planning Mode can map all your accounts and subscriptions that are still active today and give your family a playbook for what to do with everything after you're gone.

Firms buy one license per client. You get visibility across your whole caseload: what's been addressed, where the gaps are, and which clients are stuck waiting on an institution. Your team spends less time on non-legal busywork.
